About the Music

The music of Naad, while generally classified as ethno-fusion, is also so much more: a predominantly Indian classical or semiclassical base, layered with percussion from Asian, African and Arabic roots, topped with a dash of electronica or a more punchy rock energy. The music tends to be more focussed on the "sound" to be absorbed in whole by the listener's being, without really having to pay attention to the language or lyrics. On his official YouTube channel, MAHALStudio, each track is generally accompanied by a vibrant music video symbolising the very diverse essence characterising the method of the music beyond borders or limits.
